JUST IN: Tinubu Holds Closed-Door Meeting with APC Chieftain Folarin in Lagos

Senator Teslim Folarin, the Renewed Hope Ambassador in Oyo State, on Thursday night held a closed-door meeting with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at his private residence in Ikoyi, Lagos.
Folarin, a three-term senator who represented Oyo Central, remains a prominent figure within the All Progressives Congress (APC) both in Oyo State and nationally.
Known for his strategic political engagements and loyalty, he has continued to play a key role in shaping the party’s structure in the state.
Since his appointment as Renewed Hope Ambassador in Oyo, a position aligned with the policy direction of the Tinubu administration, Folarin has been credited with helping to stabilise the party’s internal structure.
He is widely recognised for promoting reconciliation among previously divided factions within the Oyo APC, fostering unity and strengthening cohesion within the party.
Party leaders, stakeholders, and grassroots mobilisers have acknowledged his role as a bridge-builder in the state’s political landscape.
Beyond internal party affairs, Folarin has also been actively promoting the Renewed Hope Agenda, mobilising support and strengthening political networks ahead of future elections.
Sources within the party suggest that his meeting with President Tinubu is part of ongoing consultations to reinforce party strength nationwide, particularly in states like Oyo where political realignments are considered crucial.
Observers believe the engagement reflects growing recognition of Folarin’s influence and his role in advancing party unity and electoral preparedness at the state level.
