‘El-Rufai now a reggae artist’ – Ex-senator mocks former Kaduna gov over ministerial snub

Former Kaduna Central lawmaker, Senator Shehu Sani, has mocked the immediate past governor of the state, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, over his inability to get the Senate’s confirmation.

Politics Nigeria reported that the Senate had withheld the confirmation of El-Rufai and two other ministerial nominees over security and other concerns.

El-Rufai who is far away in Beirut, Lebanon, shared a video of himself singing along to Bob Marley’s hit song, ‘who the cap fits’.

The Kaduna former governor declared the song as his favourite track from the 70s.

Reacting to El-Rufai’s tweet, Sani tweeted: “I have turned him into a Rastafarian and Reggae artist, yeah man,” obviously shading the former governor for failing to get the senate’s nod.
