A former Kaduna Central lawmaker, Senator Shehu Sani, has advised the newly-appointed minister of Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, to guard his utterances.
According to Sani, Wike will get himself and President Bola Tinubu into serious political trouble with the way he speaks.
Sani maintained that while there is no doubt about Wike’s capability to deliver on his job, there is also a tendency that he may get his principal into serious trouble.
“The capacity and competence of the new FCT minister to deliver is without doubt. The possibility of getting himself and the President into serious political trouble by his utterances or actions is also without doubt. He will have to learn to walk in a minefield or be blown by it,” the former senator said.

Politics Nigeria recalls that Wike, upon his resumption as the FCT Minister on Monday, vowed to “step on toes” by demolishing all illegal structures in the city regardless of how highly-placed the owners are.
Wike also vowed to stop open grazing in Abuja.
