Grammy-winning Nigerian singer Damini Ogulu, better known by his stage name Burna Boy, has revealed that his net worth is “way more” than $22 million (₦16.8 billion), contrary to information on the internet.
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that Burna Boy made this revelation in a recent interview with American media outlet Complex. When asked about his net worth, he responded, “Hahaha. Let’s not talk about it. Well, I prefer they to that way. That is cool. But it’s inaccurate. They are way off.”
Burna Boy went on to say that it is a blessing for him to be able to take care of his family’s financial needs. “It’s great, man. It’s a blessing. It’s nothing short of a blessing. I always told my mum while growing up as a kid that I would buy her a house and a car someday. Another ‘I Told Them’ moment,” he said.
Burna Boy has won numerous awards, including a Grammy Award for Best Global Music Album in 2022. He is also one of the most popular musicians in Africa.
