Pat Nebo, a prolific art director and production designer in the Nigerian film industry, has died.
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that the news of Nebo’s death was confirmed on Thursday, September 14, after a long illness.
He is said to have been bedridden for some time.
Nebo began his career in the film industry in 1993 as a production designer for the film “Ti Oluwa Nile.” He went on to work on a number of other films, including “Araromire,” “Arugba,” “Alero’s Symphony,” “October 1,” and “Being Mrs. Elliot.”
Nebo was known for his meticulous attention to detail and ability to create realistic sets. He also received several awards, including the 2017 Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards for Best Art Director for his work on the film “76.”
