BREAKING: Tinubu’s govt plotting to arrest me – Atiku’s spokesman

Daniel Bwala, one of the spokespersons to Atiku Abubakar, has alleged a purported plot to use security agencies to arrest him.

Bwala, known for his opposition stance against the current government, alleged that these actions were intended to silence his voice.

In a post on X in which he copied the Nigerian Police, the Department of State Security Services, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, and several media outlets, the political figure warned of impending attempts to tarnish his reputation with “trumped-up allegations.”

He also mentioned CNN, BBC World, the FBI, and the National Crime Agency, UK in the post, raising concerns about the potential international implications of the allegations.

His words:

”Last night I got a credible intelligence that some key people around the seat of power (Presidential Aso Vila) of this government are planning to use security agencie(s) to arrest me and take me into custody on trumped-up allegations in order to rubbish me and silence me.

”That I am making them and the government uncomfortable. Let the world
know today that I have always known that from my stands on the same faith ticket, which led to my leaving APC, and consequent posture as a political opposition, it might irk the deep state and come with persecution for what I believe in and stand for.

”If anything happens to me, let the world know today of their evil plans.”
