Politics Nigeria can report that there is heavy security presence at the venue of the Kaduna Governorship Election Tribunal as it prepares to deliver judgement on the March 18 poll.
This newspaper earlier reported that candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Isa Ashiru, is challenging the victory of Governor Uba Sani of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2023 general election, citing irregularities and electoral fraud.
Security measures have been intensified in and around the court premises to prevent any breach.
Access to the court premises is strictly limited, with only a select few journalists granted entry.
The three-member panel led by Justice Victor Oviawe are not physically present in court as they will deliver the judgment via Zoom.
