Coronavirus: Osun govt receives relief materials from Citi Trust, Wema bank

The Osun State government on Tuesday received foodstuff and other relief materials from Citi Trust Holdings Plc and Wema Bank Plc.

While Citi trust was represented Adewole Adekunle, Wema Bank Plc was represented by Adeyeni Adeniji; the Zonal Manager in Osun State.

POLITICS NIGERIA understands that the relief materials are to cushion the State-wide lockdown on the people in the state.

This newspaper gathered that the supply goods include 1000 bags of 5kg rice, vegetable oil, spaghetti and noodles from Citi Trust Holdings.

Wema bank donated 3000 bags of rice and vegetable oil.The supply was done in Osogbo, the state capital.

Speaking during the delivery, the Secretary to the State Government, Wole Oyebamiji, appreciated Wema Bank and Citi Trust holdings PLC, for their kind support towards the State Government.

POLITICS NIGERIA understands that the state has recorded 20 cases of Coronavirus as at the time of writing this reporting.
