A video of Nuhu Ribadu, the National Security Advisor, Femi Gbajabiamila, the Chief of Staff to President Bola Tinubu, and Seyi Tinubu, the President’s son, laughing during the dismissal of the appeal by Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi, has emerged.
This occurred when the Supreme Court ruled out all petitions by Obi, saying they were related to the appeal by his PDP counterpart and hence lacked merit.
The court had previously dismissed the appeal filed by Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), challenging the victory of President Bola Tinubu.
The court held that the petitioners, Atiku and Obi, failed to prove their allegations of electoral irregularities and non-compliance with the Electoral Act.
