Looted funds: Former senator tells Tinubu to probe Buhari’s government

Former Kaduna lawmaker, Shehu Sani, has advised President Bola Tinubu to probe the administration of his predecessor, Muhammadu Buhari, over alleged corruption.

Sani gave the charge in a tweet via his X handle on Monday, November 6.

According to the outspoken comrade, President Tinubu could save the country from further borrowing if he probes and recovers funds allegedly looted under Buhari.

“The President can save the country from plunging into deeper debt by emphasising on the recovery of looted funds from the elements of the Buhari administration instead of more borrowing,” the former senator said.

Sani also alleged that some persons took advantage of Buhari’s weak leadership style to corruptly enrich themselves.
