Former President Muhammadu Buhari has granted his first interview since leaving office as president on May 29 after two terms of eight years.
The interview was granted to the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and took place at Buhari’s residence in Daura, Katsina State.
In a tweet announcing the interview, former presidential spokesman Bashir Ahmed said: “Yesterday at his residence in Daura, former President @MBuhari granted an exclusive interview to @NTANewsNow. His first interview since leaving office in May 2023.”
