Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has expressed sadness over the death of the late Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari, Abba Kyari.
In a statement sent to POLITICS NIGERIA by his spokesman, Laolu Akande, on Saturday, Osinbajo sent his heartfelt condolences to the widow of the late Chief of Staff, Hajiya Kulu Kyari.
The vice president and his wife also prayed for the family of the deceased.
The statement read: “Dolapo and I express our sympathies to the President, Mrs Kulu Kyari, the children, and members of the family on the passing of the late Mallam Abba Kyari, Chief of Staff to the President. May the Lord comfort and be with you all in Jesus name, amen.”

Kyari, who died on Friday in Lagos following complications from Coronavirus, has been buried in Abuja.
