Again, Joe Igbokwe fires IPOB, says “they’re just bunch of criminals”

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State, Joe Igbokwe has severely criticised the outlawed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).

Igbokwe’s criticism follows the razing of his house in Nnewi, Anambra State, by men he said are IPOB members.

“They are just bunch of criminals that have dealt debilitating blow on Southeast. These are people that don’t have any pin anywhere in the Southeast. All they are visiting to the Southeast is destruction. Their activities is costing the Southeast billions everyday,” Igbokwe said in a video interview with Punch on Thursday, monitored by POLITICS NIGERIA.

“Before they came to my house, they went to about five locations in Nnewi. They went to the house of the former minister of planning and budget, they went to Nnewi Police Command, they went to Road Safety office, then DSS office, and then to my house. As they were moving to my house, they were shooting people down. Unfortunately, three people went down, including a third-year medical student in Nnewi.”

IPOB is a secessionist organization in Nigeria, agitating for the sovereignty of Eastern Nigeria.
