Dr. George Moghalu, governorship candidate of the Labour Party (LP) in Anambra, has criticised Governor Chukwuma Soludo for attacking Peter Obi, former LP presidential candidate.
Speaking in Nawfija, Umunze and Agulu, communities in Orumba South and Anaocha LGAs, Moghalu urged Soludo to run an issue-based campaign ahead of the November 8 governorship election.
He described the poll as crucial for the people of the state, saying it would determine the fate of Anambra over the next four years.
Moghalu said the outcome would also have a significant impact on the 2027 presidential election.
“If we truly desire an Igbo presidency, Anambra must make a bold statement,” he said, while declaring support for Obi to succeed President Bola Tinubu.
