Kabiru Adisa, a chieftain of the All Progressives congress (APC) has said that he will unseat the incumbent governor of Osun State, Ademola Adeleke in 2026.
Adisa, in a statement issued on Tuesday said he has all it takes to govern the people of Osun.
He assured that he would serve the people of the state and give them good governance better than what Adeleke is currently delivering to them.
Stating that he is gearing up towards the 2026 governorship election in Osun, Adisa said, “My tenure as President of the Guidance Community Development Foundation and my experience as a Financial Controller in the corporate sector have equipped me with the skills to deliver measurable results, manage resources effectively, and drive inclusive growth.”
Adisa also stated that he is committed to ensuring that youths and women of Osun State are empowered.
He added, “Food security will be a central focus of my administration.
“By supporting smallholder farmers, investing in modern agricultural practices, and enhancing access to affordable inputs, we will ensure Osun becomes self-reliant in food production,” Adisa said.
