APC group accuses Peter Obi and Atiku of stashing billions while Nigerians suffer

The Confederation of All Progressives Congress (APC) support group has accused major opposition leaders in the country of stashing their wealth while Nigerians suffer.

The APC group specifically mentioned Peter Obi, the Labour Party presidential candidate in the 2023 general elections and Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Its director-general, Mohammed Kailani, said this on Saturday at a news conference in Abuja.

His words: “I advise both opposition leaders, henceforth, to first strategise on how to solve the problems in their political parties first.

“They should do this by using strategies that are grounded in realism, evidence and comprehensive planning in addressing the complex challenges they have before coming out to talk or advise an administration that is doing well.

“The opposition leaders pretend when making comments that they wish the country well, especially when Peter Obi of the Labour Party has about $1 trillion kept in his bank, Fidelity Bank.

“And, Atiku Abubakar, having about the same amount stashed around the world, monies they could have invested in the country to help the masses of the country get employment and pull out of poverty.

“Today after their defeats they have now resorted to wishful thinking politics to clear the hangover of their defeats.”

Kailani, who rallied support for President Bola Tinubu, urged the opposition leadeds to allow the president to be focused and to stop distracting him.

  1. I think your party leader has more and he is the president now and all national resources are at his disposal. Therefore these should be done before thinking or talking about Obi and Atiku:
    1. He should be leader by example for remember the story of bullion vans at his house;
    2. He should stop embezzlement;
    3. He should create the conducive environment;
    4. His government should create employment and pull the masses out of poverty.
