The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Nentawe Yilwatda, has declared that there will be no vacancy in the presidency come 2027.
Yilwatda called on opposition parties, especially those in the African Democratic Congress (ADC) coalition, to shelve their ambitions of unseating President Bola Tinubu.
He spoke on Tuesday during a solidarity visit by the APC League of Professionals to the party’s national secretariat in Abuja.
Yilwatda said the APC was confident of dominating the 2027 elections and would not allow any room for rival parties to gain ground.
His words: “The child of the poorest man in Nigeria can now go to school to the peak without borrowing.
“This government has made provisions for that. We dropped ₦1.5 billion in the Bank of Agriculture for young Nigerians interested in farming.”
The APC chairman said the student loan scheme, youth empowerment programmes, and support for agriculture under Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda are tangible achievements that set the party apart.
He stated: “These impactful programmes have touched the lives of ordinary Nigerians, and they form the foundation of our confidence going into the next election.
“Never before have we had this opportunity. We have the youth fund being given to the youth. Our manifesto targets people like you.”
Yilwatda said the APC was working to ensure the re-election of Tinubu as well as victory in all other tiers of government in 2027.
“I look forward to working with you to ensure that 2027 will deliver the president, governors, senators, and members of the House of Assembly and Representatives,” he added.
