APC Reacts to PDP’s claim of ‘delayed’ payment of December salaries

The All Progressives Congress (APC) have fired back at the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), dismissing accusations of delayed December salaries for Federal Government workers as “flimsy” and politically motivated.

In a statement signed by National Publicity Secretary Felix Morka, the APC countered the PDP’s criticisms, claiming that President Bola Tinubu’s administration has “demonstrated far greater sensitivity and commitment to workers’ welfare than all of PDP’s 16 years in government combined.”

The present administration has continued to promote qualitative dialogue and engagement with organised labour in preventing and resolving disputes in addition to several other incentives and palliatives, Morka said.

Recall that the PDP had earlier condemned the alleged salary delay by the federal government, with National Publicity Secretary Hon. Debo Ologunagba accusing the Tinubu government of “weaponising poverty” through such actions.
