The Deputy Director of the new media and member of the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) and Election Management committee of Bola Tinubu/Kashim Shettima Grassroots Independent Campaign Council (ICC), Adamu Garba, has said Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State “will become the hero of the democracy of our time”.
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that Garba was reacting to reports that Wike will in January formally unveil Tinubu, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as his preferred presidential candidate for the 2023 presidential election.
Over the past few days, there have been reports that five aggrieved Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governors — Wike, Seyi Makinde (Oyo), Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi (Enugu), Okezie Ikpeazu (Abia), and Samuel Ortom (Benue) — were meeting in London to discuss plans to endorse Tinubu.
After the formal announcement by G5 in January, Gov. Wike will become the hero of the democracy of our time.
