President Bola Tinubu on Wednesday, January 15, joined Nigerians across the globe to honour the sacrifices made by every fallen hero.
The president did this in commemoration of the 2025 Armed Forces Remembrance Day.
In a post made on X via his official handle, Tinubu said, “Today, we honor the bravery and sacrifices of our fallen heroes.
“To the fathers, brothers, uncles, sons, and nephews who gave their all for love, life, and country — your legacy remains eternal.
“Rest in strength and dignity. 🇳🇬,” the president said.
He also added the hashtag, #ArmedForcesRemembranceDay to his post on X.
In addition to this honour handed the fallen heroes, Vice President Kashim Shettima laid the wreath at the celebration of the Armed Forces Remembrance Day at the National Arcade, Eagle Square.
The Vice President was at the venue to represent President Tinubu who is currently in Abu Dhabi attending the Sustainable Development Week Summit.
