Former Presidential Spokesman, Reno Omokri has weighed in on the recent indictment of top cop, Abba Kyari by the United state government.
Kyari has been indicted by a US district court in California of having ties to disgraced fraudster, Ramon Olorunwa Abass popularly known as ‘Hushpuppi’.
The court also ordered the Federal Bureau of Investigation, FBI to arrest Kyari and produce him for trial.
Omokri, in a tweet on Thursday evening called on President Muhammadu Buhari to arrest Kyari immediately. He told the President to be as proactive and fast as he was in capturing IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu and Yoruba secessionist leader, Sunday Adeyemo alias Sunday Igboho.
Omokri wrote; “Let us see if Buhari arrests Abba Kyari with the same speed and brutality with which he attempted to arrest Sunday Igboho.”
“This will help us know whether some are more equal than others in Nigeria. Because if Abba Kyari was Igbo, by now he would have been suspended.”
“Now that the lid has been blown off Abba Kyari, what will Buhari’s Government do with its so called super cop, whose recent pastimes is attending celebrity burials.”
“This alleged FBI indictment must not be swept under the table because he shares ethnicity with Buhari.”
