Activist and former spokesperson of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Deji Adeyanju has called on the Nigerian government to also arrest the ‘real terrorists’ terrorising the country.
Adeyanju made this statement via social media on Tuesday while reacting to the arrest of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu.
The popular social critic wrote: “Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s rights must be respected at all times. The Buhari Govt should go and arrest the real terrorist terrorising our country and their sympathisers in and out of Govt.”
“The Pantami & Gumis of this world.”
“The right to self determination is a human right. Don’t allow anyone convince you otherwise. Patriotism is not forced on people. Now that Nnamdi Kanu has been brought back, he should be given a sensitive ministerial portfolio like Pantami & we should all handover our personal data to him.”
POLITICS NIGERIA recalls that Nigeria’s minister for Communication and Digital Economy, Isa Pantami, made headlines a few months ago for allegedly having links to terrorist organisations.
He was accused of being sympathetic to terrorist organisations like Al-Qaeda, Taliban and Boko Haram. On the other hand, Sheikh Ahmad Gumi has faced severe criticisms for ‘justifying’ the activities of Bandits in the north.
