A popular stalwart of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Femi Fani-Kayode, has reacted to the recent Supreme Court verdict concerning President-elect Bola Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima.
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that Fani-Kayode contended that the ruling signifies the failure of Atiku Abubakar, the 2023 Presidential candidate for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and his party’s attempts to manipulate or compromise the judiciary.
The outspoken political figure asserted that Atiku’s quest to pervert justice had been thwarted.
Taking to Twitter, Fani-Kayode wrote: “The Supreme Court has finally dismissed Atiku Abubakar and his Peoples Destruction Party’s baseless case. Undoubtedly, he and his team are likely shedding tears at this moment, as they were unable to manipulate the course of justice or exert influence over the judges. Once again, we emerge victorious, with Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu rising above all. Glory be to God! Let us hope this will put an end to the insatiable power hunger of the Obidients and the Atikulators.”
Recall that on Friday, the apex court rejected the PDP’s lawsuit seeking the disqualification of Tinubu and Shettima from the upcoming 2023 presidential election.
The party had contested Shettima’s alleged dual nomination. However, the Supreme Court deemed the PDP’s suit devoid of merit.
