A former vice president of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar on Saturday, May 31, met with the Governor of Abia, Alex Otti in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory.
Atiku and Otti met alongside other top leaders including the Emir of Kano Dtate, Muhammaf Sanudi II at the Abuja Continental Hotel.
The leaders were at the hotel to mark the 60th birthday celebration of former minister of transportation, Rotimi Amaechi.
Amaechi is marking his 60th birthday with a lecture titled, “Weaponization of Poverty as a Means of Underdevelopment: A Case Study of Nigeria”.
Other notable guests at the event include a former governor of Ekiti State, Kayode Fayemi; Nobel laureate, Wole Soyinka among many others.
Recall that the former governor turned 60 on May 27, but his associates had announced that the celebration for his birthday would take place in Abuja on May 31.
