Former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar has sent a message to President Tinubu, stating that the African Democratic Congress (ADC) is set to make significant political gains ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Atiku, who officially joined the ADC on Thursday in Yola, Adamawa State, shared the development in a post on X on Friday.
He posted photographs of himself receiving his membership card and a customised Waziri 01 jersey, highlighting the symbolic nature of the brief ceremony, which drew a large gathering of supporters, party leaders, and community stakeholders.
Reaffirming the party’s growing momentum, Atiku noted that the ADC’s nationwide mobilisation efforts are in full swing.
“Yesterday, the ADC train made a stopover in Jalingo for the unveiling of the Taraba State secretariat of the Coalition Party.
“There’s no stopping the ADC; it is heading your way,” he wrote on X.
His reaction comes amid preparations for the forthcoming 2027 general elections, as he and former Governor of Kaduna state, El-Rufai officially joined the ADC.
