Daniel Bwala, an ally of Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the last election, has paid a visit to President Bola Tinubu.
Bwala disclosed this in a tweet via his X handle on Monday, January 29.
The PDP chieftain described President Tinubu as the father of the nation.
“It was a pleasure to meet with the father of the nation #officialABAT President Bola Tinubu in Paris today. He continues to share his thoughts and demonstrate his passion to lead Nigeria out of the woods,” he said.
Politics Nigeria reports that President Tinubu is currently on a private visit to France.
Bwala’s closeness with President Tinubu has continued to generate mixed reactions considering his role as spokesperson for the PDP presidential campaign in the last election.
At their first meeting which took place in the presidential villa early January, Bwala described Tinubu as his motivation.
The former Tinubu critic also declared his support for All Progressives Congress (APC) administration.
