Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom on Thursday appointed Tivlumun Nyitse as his new Chief of Staff.
The appointment was confirmed by Ortom’s Chief Press Secretary (CPS), Nathaniel Ikyur in a terse statement. Ikyur said, “The governor has approved the appointment of Dr Tivlumun Nyitse as the Chief of Staff.
“He (governor) has also re-appointed Mrs Mimi Orubibi as executive chairman of Board of Internal Revenue Service.”
POLITICS NIGERIA recalls that the former Chief of Staff, Terwase Orbunde; and former Chairman of the Board of Internal Revenue Service, Andrew Ayaban had resigned their appointments on September 30, 2021, to pursue their political aspirations.
The new Chief of Staff, Nyitse, was a retired permanent secretary who aspired to be Governor in 2019. He used to be a University lecturer.
