Biafra: “Fast-track South-East removal from Nigeria” – Northern Coalition tells Court

Members of a Coalition of Northern group have approached a Federal high Court in Abuja seeking the exit of the South-East from Nigeria

The group appealed to the court to compel federal lawmakers to act on the matter before the conclusion of the ongoing constitutional amendment.

POLITICS NIGERIA learned that the members namely Aminu Adam, Sulaiman Abdulaziz and Nastura Ashir Shariff, explained that the move was necessary to avoid further violence and destruction from the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB.

They also explained that if not handled quickly, another civil war could happen.

In response to the development, some lawyers from the South East namely; Chuks Muoma, Ukpai Ukairo, Ebere Uzoatu and Obi Emuka, applied to be joined as defendants in the suit.

They seek to be representatives of the people of the south eastern region. The Igbo lawyers said they had interest to protect in the suit, hence, their request to be made defendants.

  1. You are getting your oxygen of life from the south east and you want them to cecede from Nigeria? So what will these northerners do without the oil from the south east? They spend the oil money like water they don’t even know where the oil comes from.

  2. THEY ARE STILL PLAYING TAKIYA POLITICS OVER ANYTHING CONCERNING SOUTH EAST BUT WE’RE WATCHING THEY WORLD IS WATCHING. THEY DON’T NEED COURT TO LET SOUTH EAST GO.

  3. Welcome development they should not defend the east it’s good to allow the North to practice there Islamic Republic which is better for them we go in peace devoid pf rape and pedophilic tenency of some northerners including herdsmen attrocities.
