Boko Haram leader Shekau threatens Borno Governor, others in new video

The leader of the dreaded Boko Haram terror sect, Abubakar Shekau, has released a new video, threatening Governor Babagana Zulum of Borno state and his predecessor, Kashim Shettima.

Shekau, in the 56-minute video, also threatened the National Security Adviser, Babagana Monguno, extremist analyst Bulama Bukarti, and former Youth and Sports Minister, Solomon Dalung.

The sect leader was heard warning Bulama Bukarti along with other government officials and the Nigerian Army for “refusing to keep quiet”.

The Boko Haram leader also translated the Nigerian and NYSC national anthems into Arabic, Hausa and Kanuri. He claimed that all Nigerian Muslims who recite the two anthems deserve to be killed.

He noted that any Muslim who reads the Nigerian national anthem at school or elsewhere is a disbeliever even if he is praying and fasting.

The new video comes a few days after the United States warned that Boko Haram has started expanding its activities from the North to the Southern part of Nigeria.
