President Bola Tinubu arrived in Brasília, Brazil, on Monday, calling for renewed diplomatic and economic cooperation between Nigeria and the South American nation.
He was received by the President of the Federative Republic of Brazil, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, at the Planalto Palace following a full military honours parade marking the start of Tinubu’s state visit.
In a post on his official X account, Tinubu described his meeting with President Lula da Silva as an opportunity to strengthen and renew the long-standing ties between the two countries.
