[BREAKING] 2023: Sanusi opens up on contesting presidency

Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, a former Emir of Kano, on Monday said he is contented being spiritual leader of the Tijaniyyah, and not eyeing the Nigerian presidency in 2023.

POLITICS NIGERIA reports that speaking in Abeokuta, Ogun State, at a reception marking the 80th birthday of Babanla Adinni of Egbaland, Chief Tayo Sowunmi, Sanusi noted that he had served in various capacities both in past and present “and I will forever be grateful to Allah.”

Also, the former Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) governor counseled presidential aspirants to be prepared for the huge task of leading a nation as Nigeria.

“The solution is not for all of us to jump into politics, this country needs good politicians, it needs Imams and pastors and bishops who are going to stand up and remind them (politicians) of the fear of God,” Sanusi said. “It needs technocrats who are going to critique their policies, it needs traditional rulers who are going to speak as the conscience of the people, everyone has a role to play and we should try to play that role to the best of our ability.”

  1. Even as a spiritual leader, he has been proven to be unworthy. Reason he was deposed removed and banished away from home. Therefore, to which people will he preside over as a spiritual leader?

Sanusi was rusticated as governor of the CBN later removed as Emir of Kano.

WHAT OTHER CREDENTIAL DOES HE POSSESS TO LEAD ANYONE AND ANYTHING?

Except Nigerians and indeed the black man is a sentimental animal. This guy deserves no leadership position of any kind anywhere. Any more proof!
