Embattled former chairman of the Pension Reform Task Team (PRTT), Abdulrasheed Maina has been extradited to Nigeria after his arrest in Niger Republic on Monday.
He was received by men of the Nigeria Police Force at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport on Thursday. Maina is currently facing trial for fraud to the tune of 2 billion naira. Maina failed to appear in court, escaping to Niger republic. This led to the remand of Senator Ali Ndume, who stood as a surety for him.
Ndume spent 2 days in Kuje prison before being granted bail.
