BREAKING: ADC Reveals Strategy to Sack Tinubu, Take Over Aso Rock in 2027

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has declared its readiness to unseat President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 general elections.

The party’s National Secretary, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola made the declaration while disclosing a grassroots-driven strategy that he said will secure victory both at the federal level and in Lagos State.

Aregbesola, a former governor of Osun State, made the declaration on Saturday in Lagos during an event where Hon. Moshood Salvador, leader of the Conscience Forum of the Labour Party (LP), formally led his members into the ADC. The gathering also coincided with the 25th anniversary celebration of the Conscience Forum as a political group.

The event drew the presence of the Lagos State leadership of the party, as well as zonal and ward leaders of the Conscience Forum across the 20 local government areas and 37 LCDAs of Lagos State.

In his address to the defecting members, Aregbesola commended the executives and members of the Conscience Forum while charging them to commit themselves fully to the ADC’s mission of capturing power both at the federal and Lagos State levels in 2027.

He pledged that the ADC will not only produce Nigeria’s next president but also secure Alausa, stressing that victory will be made possible by the strategy where one committed member must bring in ten new members, and each of those ten must in turn recruit ten more.

He emphasized that once replicated nationwide, this formula would guarantee overwhelming dominance for the ADC in the 2027 elections.

He said, “I am happy to be a part of this gathering. I am also happy to receive you into the ADC folds. We are the only one that can make it difficult to take over wherever we are if the Conscience Forum, good looking people with highly cultured leadership can organized this kind of event to make a declaration for the ADC and follow the line enunciated by the leader, surely, Alausa is a sure ticket for all of us.

“With our resolve, it won’t be difficult at all to take over the seat of power. It’s a simple strategy of one getting ten and each of the ten will equally get ten. Its operation ten over ten. Once we are able to get this done, that’s the end of it. We will surely meet at the Aso Rock Villa and produce the next president of the country. Once again, I am happy to be here and we must not relax our efforts to change Nigeria.”

Salvador, in his remarks, explained that the internal crisis bedeviling the Labour Party had exposed its weakness and proved it was not a party of the future. He maintained that the ADC, backed by a broader coalition of opposition forces, represents a viable political alternative.

Salvador further revealed that the Conscience Forum, with its membership strength of over 400,000 in Lagos State alone, will now integrate its entire structure, including local government and ward officers, into the ADC. He stressed that the group’s decision to declare for the ADC on its 25th anniversary was deliberate, symbolizing a new phase in its political journey.

It will be recalled that the African Democratic Congress was adopted in July by the National Coalition of Political Opposition Movement at an event held at the Shehu Musa Yar’Adua Centre, Abuja, as the coalition’s political vehicle for the 2027 elections.
