The House of Representatives has vowed to investigate the havoc caused by the adulterated fuel in circulation to vehicles and other machines in Nigeria.
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that the Reps, through a motion on Thursday by the Chief Whip, Mohammed Mongunu, promised that heads will roll.
It instructed the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) to submit the deeds of purchase to the parliament for thorough checks.
It also asked the state Oil and Gas company to immediately suspend the four companies said to be involved in the purchasing and supplying of the bad fuel: MRS, Oando, Duke Oil, and Emadeb.
The Green Chamber of the National Assembly is also expected to investigate the roles played by Standard Organization of Nigeria (SON), Nigerian Navy and all other regulatory agencies in the petroleum sector in the supply of the horrendous product.
