Nigeria’s President, Muhammadu Buhari has received the General Overseer of The Citadel Global Community Church, Pastor Tunde Bakare, at the Presidential Villa in Abuja on Friday.
This was revealed by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina who shared photographs from the meeting on social media.
“President Buhari receives Pastor Tunde Bakare in State House on 15th Oct 2021,” Adesina captioned the photos.
The presidential aide, however, failed to disclose details of the meeting.
POLITICS NIGERIA recalls that this meeting is coming a few days after Bakare criticised the All Progressives Congress, APC and the Buhari administration in a very scathing sermon adding that ‘Power must change hands in 2023’.
It’s unclear the reason for the meeting but sources reveal that it may be closely related to the upcoming 2023 General elections.
