An aide to late Rotimi Akeredolu, the immediate past governor of Ondo State, has tendered his resignation, citing unwavering loyalty to his departed “fearless and honest leader.”
Dare Aragbaiye, who served as both Head of Service and Special Adviser on Union Matters and Special Duties during Akeredolu’s tenure, formally stepped down on Wednesday, December 27th, 2023.
In a letter addressed to the Secretary to the State Government, Aragbaiye said his resignation is “based on the unfortunate death of my Principal.” He expressed his heartfelt gratitude for the opportunity to serve in the governor’s administration.
