The Lagos studio of Television Continental (TVC), a television station allegedly owned by former Lagos Governor, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, has been razed down by an angry mob.
This is in protest against the killing of unarmed youths protesting police brutality in Lekki Toll Gate on Tuesday evening.
The killing of Tuesday was perpetrated by men of the Nigerian Army. It has however attracted comments from across the globe.
An eyewitness who passed through the vicinity of the media organisation in Ketu on Wednesday confirmed that the smoke from the studio filled the air.
Also, the TV suspended its broadcast on Wednesday morning after a presenter said in a frightened voice; ‘thugs are at our gates.”
