Hon. Ekene Abubakar Adams, a member of the House of Representatives, has been confirmed dead.
Adams, who represented Chikun/Kajuru Federal Constituency of Kaduna State, was a member of the Labour Party.
According to his wife, Adams had been ill before his untimely death on Tuesday morning.
He was the Chairman of the House Committee on Sports.
This news comes just a week after another member of the House, Olaide Adewale Akinremi, representing Ibadan North Federal Constituency on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), was confirmed dead.
