Professor Monsuru Emiola of Bayero University, Kano (BUK) has died on Wednesday.
The late Emiola was a senior lecturer with the Physical and Health Education Department, Faculty of Education of the institution.
Emiola, who is an indigene of Oyo state, died at the university clinic after a brief illness. He is survived with a wife and children.
POLITICS NIGERIA gathered that the university also lost a lecturer in the Faculty of Communication, Prof Balarabe Maikaba, on April 26.
The two lecturers are the latest victims of strange deaths recorded in Kano state.
