The ruling All Progressives Congress, APC is embroiled in yet another bitter crisis as President Muhammadu Buhari reportedly approved the removal of the Chairman of the Extraordinary caretaker committee and Yobe State governor, Mai Mala Buni.
POLITICS NIGERIA learned that a faction of the APC governors allegedly complained bitterly to the president that Buni was not inclined to hold the convention as rescheduled, because no preparations had been setout for it.
On Monday morning, Police Officers surrounded the secretariat. Sources reveal that the police officers numbered about 80 and they quickly cordoned off the building.
Governor Sani Bello, who is expected to take over from Buni has arrived the venue and is expected to preside over the Caretaker Committee meeting.
