BREAKING: APC dissolves Benue executive committee, appoints caretaker committee

The National Working Committee (NWC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has officially dissolved the Benue State Executive Committee.

The decision was taken to address ongoing issues within the party’s state chapter and ensure smooth operations ahead of future political engagements.

The APC NWC, under the leadership of National Chairman Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, made the announcement at the party’s National Secretariat in Abuja on Wednesday.

Following the dissolution, a seven-member Caretaker Committee has been constituted to oversee the affairs of the APC in Benue State for the next six months.

The members of the newly inaugurated Caretaker Committee are as follows:

  1. Hon. Benjamin Omale – Chairman
  2. Prof. Bem Angwe – Secretary
  3. Hon. Richard Mzungweve – Member
  4. Hon. James Ornguga – Member
  5. Hon. Barr. Terhemen Ngbea – Member
  6. Hon. Helen Agaigbe – Member
  7. Barr. Ali Francis Adah – Member

The Caretaker Committee is expected to commence its duties immediately, focusing on reconciliation efforts, party reorganization, and preparation for upcoming electoral activities in Benue State.

The NWC has given the committee a mandate to work towards strengthening the party at the grassroots level and to ensure that the APC remains united as it gears up for future political challenges.
