Some unidentified arsonists have razed the house of Paschal Agbodike, a lawmaker representing Ihiala Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives.
The hoodlums were said to have invaded the building located in Ubahi-Mbosi in Ihiala Local Government Area on Tuesday, August 8, and started shooting sporadically before torching the house.
The four-bedroom duplex was completely razed, although no life was lost in the inferno.
Confirming the tragedy to journalists, Agbodike said he was informed of the incident on the telephone., adding that he was in Abuja carrying out his legislative duties when the attack occurred.
Ikenga said: “The area has been condoned and security operatives have been deployed in the area. There are ongoing surveillance efforts by the operatives.”
