BREAKING: Atiku VS Buhari: Election Tribunal Reserves Judgement [REASONS]

Information reaching the POLITICS NIGERIA Newsdesk this afternoon reveals that the Presidential Election Petitions Tribunal has decided to reserve its judgement in the suit filed by Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP challenging the election of President Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress, APC.

A five-man panel of the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal headed by Justice Mohammed Garba reserved judgment to a date to be communicated to all the parties involved in the petition.

Dr Levi Uzoukwu, who led the petitioners’ legal team insisted in his final written address that President Buhari’s claim that he submitted his certificates to the Military Board has been controverted by the Secretary to the Military Board.

Lawyers to INEC, President Buhari and the All Progressives Congress, however, urged the Tribunal to dismiss the petition with substantial cost for lacking in merit and substance. They argued that the nation’s law only requires a candidate to be educated up to secondary school level or its equivalent.

      1. He also speaks for progressive minds like me. I feel bad when people defend this fraudulent government. Well, I am not the only person suffering it.

  1. It is up to nigeria and her judiciary to safe this country from the looming danger. if the tribunal plays into the hands of the executive, I bet you that will definitely bury this nation. It is important to note here that we may not have another chance to rewrite the wrongs. Nothing need to be covered here but open up all wrongs. No singular person or tribe is greater than this country. Every man here will go some day but this country remains. So judiciary take the bull by the horn. Mind you, the world is watching.

  2. If the judiciary which hope of the common Nigeria don’t stand up to themselves then they will end up betray the future of their children born and yet unborn for you cannot eat your cake and have. We are watching

  3. Atiku has relied on the old order of votes buying and massive rigging but thanks to the card reader that proved them wrong.
