BREAKING: Bandits currently attacking Kebbi communities

Villages under Unashi area of Danko Wasagu Local Government, Kebbi state, northwest Nigeria, are presently being attacked by terrorists known locally as bandits.

Three people have been allegedly killed by the bandits, who also carted away farm produce and cattle.

POLITICS NIGERIA reports that this latest attack, on Friday evening, is coming two days after Kebbi State Governor, Abubakar Atiku Bagudu visited the various communities and families affected by the recent bandits’ attacks in Wasagu area of Zuru Emirate.

A total of 13 civilians, two soldiers and a police officer were killed last Friday when bandits attacked nine communities, Ragan, Morai, Warkata, Wadaku, Dankade, Yar-Kuka, Gaya, Ayu and Unashi in Zuru Emirate.

While addressing those displaced by the attacks at the Nizzamiya Primary School where they were camped at Waje Town in Danko Wasagu, Bagudu had said he was in the area to condole with the people and as well pray for the repose of the souls of those killed during the attack. He prayed the Almighty God to grant the families of the deceased persons the fortitude to bear the irreparable losses.

He lamented that several persons and three security personnel were killed during the attack.
