Nigeria’s President, Muhammadu Buhari has appointed Professor Ibrahim Agboola Gambari as his new chief of staff.
Buhari’s appointment of Gambari is coming a few weeks after the death of his former CoS, Abba Kyari. It will be recalled that Kyari lost his life to the deadly COVID-19 Virus.
POLITICS NIGERIA, as at the time of filing this report, gathered that Gambari’s letter of appointment was being drafted and an official announcement will soon be made. Gambari is a Nigerian scholar, diplomat and an indigene of Kwara State.
Furthermore, he is a former minister of External Affairs. He is also the Pioneer Chancellor of Kwara State University and holds the prestigious national honour of Commander of the Federal Republic (CFR).
