President Muhammadu Buhari, Vice, Yemi Osinbajo and all APC Governors are currently attending the National Executive Committee(NEC) meeting in Abuja.
The meeting is currently ongoing in the Congress Hall, Transcorp Hilton, Abuja
The President arrived at the venue of the meeting by exactly 10 am, in the company of Osinbajo, the party’s National Chairman, Senator Abdullahi Adamu, President of the Senate Ahmed Lawan, his deputy, Ovie Omo-Agege, Speaker of House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, other National Assembly members, party state chairmen and national leadership.
The meeting is largely aimed at exploring the consensus option for selecting the 2023 presidential candidate of the party and resolving other rifts and problems within its structure.
Opening the meeting, Party Chairman, Adamu Abdullahi warned against continued division within the party.
