Shehu Sani, lawmaker who represented Kaduna Central Senatorial District in the National Assembly, on Friday said President Muhammadu Buhari could not have planned the much-rumoured interim government.
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that as the 2023 presidential election approaches, there have been claims from government officials and members of the main opposition, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), that some non-state actors have their eyes on an interim government as an outcome of the ongoing presidential election process.
But Sani said considering President Muhammadu Buhari has inaugurated a transition committee, he could not have been behind the alleged interim government plot.
