BREAKING: Confusion as another court declares Giadom chairman of APC

The ruling All Progressives Congress, APC is embroiled in serious crisis over the recent push by some forces in the party to remove its chairman, Adams Oshiomhole.

The crisis has reached a high point now as a federal high court in Abuja has granted an interim order permitting the acting national secretary of the party, Victor Giadom to act as the party’s national chairman.

According to court documents, Bature Samira, the presiding judge, issued the order after an ex-parte application filed by the party’s national vice chairman, north-east, Salihu Mustapha.

Salihu sought an order to prevent the APC and its officers from blocking Giadom from carrying out his duties as the party’s new chairman. he also sought an interim order empowering Giadom to preside over meetings of the party’s national executive committee(NEC).

The judge granted all prayers and adjourned the case to March 20th.

However, On Monday evening, an appeal court in Abuja ordered the APC not to follow/act on the ruling of the High court, thus leaving Oshiomole as chairman of the Party.

This development is coming a day after the national leader of the party, Bola Ahmed Tinubu criticized ‘those within the party ‘making moves to remove Oshiomole. He declared his full support for the embattled chairman.
