BREAKING: Court sends Adedoyin, 6 others to Prison over Killing of Timothy Adegoke

An Osun State High Court sitting in Osogbo, Osun State, on Thursday remanded Rahman Adedoyin and six other suspects over the death of Timothy Adegoke, pending the determination of his bail application.

POLITICS NIGERIA reports that Rahman Adedoyin is the Chairman of Hilton Hotel, Ile-Ife, Osun State, the last known place Adegoke stayed prior to his death in November 2021.

Adedoyin was docked on 11 counts of charge bordering on conspiracy, murder, altering of evidence, felony, indecent interference with the deceased’s body among others.

Adegoke, a Master of Business Administration (MBA) student of the Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, died under suspicious circumstances at the hotel.

Adegoke, who has since been buried, had arrived Ile-Ife to write his examination and lodged in Adedoyin’s hotel before his sad demise.

Adedoyin’s son, Raheem, who is also a suspect, is still at large.
