The Lagos State Government has said that cases of COVID-19 in the state are likely to increase in August.
Speaking at a press briefing at the Bagaulto Kaltho Press Centre in Alausa on Thursday, the state Commissioner for Health, Prof. Akin Abayomi, noted that if it happens, he hopes that the curve eventually gets flattened.
He said; “Based on postulations, COVID-19 cases are like to peak next month; we are hoping it peaks soon and the curve eventually gets flattened.”
